Staying Safe with Poppy & Jack

I’m pleased to introduce my next educational project - Staying Safe with Poppy & Jack - a series of characters and stories I've created as part of a national educational project supporting knife-crime prevention in the UK.

Each episode uses gentle storytelling for a younger audience to build confidence, awareness, and resilience in young children.

Both the book and videos are being created to introduce early safety awareness in a calm, age-appropriate way. Each story focuses on simple, everyday situations children may recognise, helping them understand what to do, who to talk to, and how to feel confident in their decisions.

The first episode in the series, now available to watch on my YouTube channel, is entitled The Bench which can be viewed here:

The Bench | Poppy & Jack Staying Safe Series

In The Bench, Poppy and Jack stumble upon something unexpected in the park. With curiosity, courage, and the help of a trusted adult, they learn an important lesson about staying safe and speaking up.

There is no graphic content, no fear, and no shock — just clear messages wrapped in storytelling children can understand.
